I didn’t start this as a business at first. I just needed a calm space. Something personal. I’ve always turned to drawing, painting, and design when life felt loud. Over time, I started giving my work as gifts to people I care about—and seeing their reaction made me realize maybe what gave me peace could bring the same to others. That’s how Firebrook Essentials was born. Not as a big, polished brand—but as a quiet little shop built with care.

Over time, the heart of what I do has become clearer: this shop is about design as a form of connection—to nature, to self, to the everyday rituals that make life meaningful. That’s why I’ve gently transitioned into a new name: Firebrook Designs.

This new name better reflects what I truly create: nature-inspired designs. Still the same care, the same hands behind every piece—but now with a name that tells the story more clearly.

I create every design here in Vermont, drawing inspiration from real moments, wild places, and quiet living. I thoughtfully select materials and partners. It matters to me that what you get feels special. This isn’t quick, trendy stuff. It’s made to last. It is designed to provide comfort. It is designed to be utilized and cherished.
